"In priestly formation the challenge is to minister to young men discerning the ministerial priesthood in ways that will open them to the identity that will become theirs through sacred orders. It is a journey of deep and continued conversion to Christ. Formation must challenge them to be open to receive the wisdom that comes from above – and be transformed by it. "
Parents' Weekend 2016: September 24th and 25th
Parents’ Weekend is a very special event to the seminarians and everybody in the house. This tradition has been celebrated for many decades and is held once a year, in the fall. The seminarians welcome their parents for two days, which are filled with activities, in which the parents have the opportunity to get better acquainted with St. John Vianney College Seminary. We cordially invite our special guests “The Parents” to take part in the many exciting events which have been planned by the seminarians themselves.
For those that are traveling, we have made arrangements for hotels. The three hotels mentioned below are near the seminary. Please call the hotel of your choice in order to make your reservations and make sure to mention that you are part of the St. John Vianney group to get the special group rate (visit the hotel website by clicking on the logo). *Please make your reservation by phone in order to enjoy the disclosed group rate.
We are looking forward to spend this family event with you.
