Requirements for the Major

The program of studies for the major in Theology requires a minimum of 36 credit hours. All students are required to take the Introduction to the Bible and the Introduction to Roman Catholicism courses for six credits (6) and the following distribution for the remaining degree requirements:
  • 6 credits in Scripture
  • 6 credits in Systematic Theology
  • 6 credits in Historical Theology
  • 6 credits in Moral Theology
  • 3 credits in Pastoral Theology
  • 3 credits in the Senior Integrative Seminar

At least half of these courses must be taken on the 300 level or above. All students must have a GPA of 2.0 in their theological course work.
