Philosophy Conference

major | course description | the aquinas scholarship | philosophy conference | certificate of achievement

Every academic year, during the first two weeks of April, there will be a Conference to which the entire student body and faculty of the College Seminary will be invited. In this Conference the seniors taking Senior Project will present, individually and as members of a panel, position papers on major cur-rent Social Ethics issues. These position papers will bring major current affairs under the light of Catholic Social Doctrine. The members of the panels will take questions from each other and will argue their positions. They will also take questions from the faculty and the student body. Any student writing a Senior Thesis must also do an oral presentation of his Senior Thesis and be prepared to answer questions from students and faculty.
