St. John Vianney College Seminary recognizes the growing pluralism in church and society in the United States. The Program of Priestly Formation (PPF) stresses this reality by stating that "Candidates for the ministerial priesthood are called to serve a multiracial, multiethnic Church". Drawing from Miami's multi cultural richness, the College Seminary's learning and teaching pay special attention to the rich Hispanic reality of our country. Thus candidates for the Bachelor of Arts degree must ordinarily take a mini-mum of one course in their second language each semester. The College Seminary requires that its graduates would be able to minister in both the English and Spanish languages.
St. John Vianney College Seminary modern language program has been designed to have both theoretical and practical foundations.
