In the Gospels, Jesus asks his disciples "to go out and teach all nations."- St. John’s is a place where young men come together to be formed as messengers of the gospel. The priesthood is a wonderful vocation, very challenging, yet very rewarding. St. John Vianney is a college seminary where we prepare young men spiritually, academically, pastorally and humanly to become priests and messengers of the gospel.

The Church of the 21st Century will experience many new challenges and her priests must be prepared to face these challenges. The diversity of cultures and multiplicity of languages will demand a lot of our future priests.

The cultural diversity of South Florida provides a wonderful experience for young men to prepare themselves for future ministry as priests. The Seminary provides an academic setting which is challenging and a pastoral setting which is multi-cultural. St. John’s is a place where young men not only grow spiritually but also pastorally in order to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the people.
