Hello everyone my name is Edwin and I'm a freshman here at St John Vianney College Seminary. Coming here has been a blessing. I love waking up every morning thinking about how grateful I should be for having this amazing opportunity.  The Lord called me to be a priest at 17, and I'm not going take this calling for granted. I am discerning this call, and with Christ by my side, I know I will become a great man for others.

I share the house with 58 other guys who are also on the same path as I am. Here I am the youngest of the house, and I am reminded of that every day. This doesn't discourage me though; I enjoy the company of these guys. I even see some of the guys as my big brothers. They are there when I need someone to talk to whenever I'm struggling with something or just having a tough time adapting to Seminary. I know I can count on them to give me a helping hand.

I love it here at Seminary, and I wouldn't wish to be any where else right now. The Priests here are amazing! They've made the transition for me a lot easier. Walking on this beautiful campus everyday and taking in that amazing Miami air  is a true blessing. My Lord called me to follow him, and now I am here to love him and to close my eyes and listen.
