Hello my name is Anthony Antuono. I am 20 years old, and I am in my second year of formation. I am a Seminarian studying for the Diocese of Venice in Florida . I would first like to talk about my summer assignment. I was given the opportunity this summer. 

            I was assigned to St. Charles Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, Florida . I enjoyed the time I was there and help out with numerous ministries. I was able to meet new families and make new friends.                                                                                                                                            I also went back to Rhode Island my home state. I was born and raised in Pawtucket Rhode Island. I spent that time visiting family and friends and doing a little traveling around New England . I ended up going to Boston and Mystic Connecticut for some vacation time. I really enjoyed the oysters there in Boston Harbor.  I returned to Florida a few days before Seminary began and spent that time with my family in Punta Gorda Isles. I will see them this Saturday for Family Day and get to catch up on things a little.

           It’s about three weeks into the school year, and I am doing great and enjoying this year of formation. I am getting to know all the new guys in the house and form new relationships. I think this year will be a great year. We just ended a day of recollection, and I really enjoyed it. This day of recollection has assisted me as I move forward in this year of formation. “I pray that this year will be guided under the wings of Christ and help us to grow as apprentices of the Chief Shepherd. Enkindle in our hearts you love and mercy almighty Father Amen”.
