Greetings and God’s blessings to all from Miami. The 2008-2009 school year started 4 weeks ago. We are getting back into the swing of things. Homework and classwork is really starting to pick up. Being a junior has its own level of difficulty, and being in the second year of formation has its own set of challenges. So, when you combine the two it makes for a new and fun set of challenges for both academics and formation. However, it makes for a good year because as we have been told by our rector and other people, “growth happens in the struggle.” So as we start the year down here I leave you with a thought. Don’t try to avoid the struggles, don’t try to always be in spiritual consolation. Accept the struggle that you are going through, but don’t be stuck in it.
